Electronic Check Debit - Failed

Hi Team,

I am trying to configure echeck payment option under secure acceptance profile in my sandbox account, but while trying to test the flow I get the below error, can you please share anty guidance on how to resolve the same or configure a different payment processor in sandbox account.

The payment processor fdiglobal is not configured to process ECP transactions

This usually happens when the payment processor isn’t enabled for eCheck transactions in the sandbox. you might need to either enable ECP for fdiglobal or switch to a different processor that supports eChecks in sandbox mode.

I dont see any option to switch processor in sandbox mode, can you please share the steps on how we can switch to a different processor in sandbox or configure fdiglobal to support ecp transactions?

The error The payment processor fdiglobal is not configured to process ECP transactions occurs because your current processor does not support eCheck (ECP) transactions in the Sandbox.

To resolve this:

  • eCheck (ACH/ECP) is only supported with specific processors. In the Authorize.net Sandbox, you cannot switch to another live processor, but you can use the default eCheck testing setup provided by Authorize.net.

  • Make sure you have eCheck.Net enabled in your Sandbox account under Account > Settings > Payment Forms > Payment Methods.

  • For testing, use the sample eCheck test data from our documentation:

If you need eCheck in production, you’ll need a processor that supports ECP transactions.
