What the SOAP API can do to "settle" AVS transactions
Site integrates with Cybersource using the SOAP API. So far, everything is working fine, but want to see if I can settle an AVS transaction using the API. AVS transactions can be viewed in the Cybersource Business Center. It is possible to "settle" the transaction from that view. What is the SOAP API used for?
I need this because I'm integrating Cybersource with our CRM so our staff won't have to log into two different systems. The integration would allow them to process all transactions through the CRM. Due to the fact that I would be storing transaction data on my end as well, I would be able to create custom reports for them. AVS report requested the ability to "settle" transactions just like the Cybersource Business Center allows them to do.
