Currently, one can mark all messages as read or unread only on a whole-forum level and then only by scrolling to the bottom of the page of the main community listing. I would like the ability to set individual sections as read with a button or dropdown towards the top of the page.

Hey Steve,
So are you saying you'd like to be able to mark messages as read or unread for each particular board? You can do that by clicking on a board's name, then click Board Options, then select Mark all as Read or Mark all as New.
Is that along the lines of what you're looking for?
Thanks,
Michelle

Yes, indeed. I had not spotted that. Thanks. However, I could do without the "Are you sure" conformation page.

I agree with this observation.

Yeah you're right--that's kinda annoying. I've contacted the powers that be to see about getting that removed. I'll let you know when I hear something. Thanks for pointing that out!

Just FYI, they got back to me and let me know that as of now, they can't remove that page. But we've put in the request for them to do that for us. Once it's been deployed, I'll let you know. :smileyhappy:
Thanks,

Ok, that annoying confirmation page when you choose to mark all messages as read in a board is now gone. Woo hoo!
Thanks,
Michelle
