I am trying to integrate Akamai SureRoute in our system.
1.I have read that url is changing from https://api.authorize.net/xml/v1/request.api to https://api2.authorize.net/xml/v1/request.api. On another blog I found that I can still use the same url
2. I am using coldfuson 10. On this link http://www.coldfusionmuse.com/index.cfm/2014/12/8/colfusion-jvm-versions-sslv3-tls
I found out that I need to run Java 1.8 I do have 1.7 . Do i need to update to 1.8?
And what else would I Need to make a smooth transition

@tsomik1 The URL https://api2.authorize.net/xml/v1/request.api is for early adopters.
If you want to switch to Akamai SureRoute on your Production setup today, change the URL from https://api.authorize.net/xml/v1/request.api to https://api2.authorize.net/xml/v1/request.api and you'll be all set.
We're planning on updating https://api.authorize.net/xml/v1/request.api to use Akamai SureRoute on June 30. If you'd rather wait until June 30, don't change the URL and we'll take care of the rest.
Upgrading Java is not necessary for Akamai SureRoute. However, if you want to use TLS 1.2, you will need to upgrade Java.
We recommend using TLS 1.2 as soon as possible, for its security benefits, but we won't require it until 2018.
I hope this helps!

So basically what you're saying I do not have to do anything.

If you don't want to start using Akamai SureRoute until June 30, correct. You can leave everything as-is.

My level of knowledge in this subect matter is very low. I have been tasked to make this change over for our company and I need a bit of help. Our company uses Magento and I can't find the "https://api.authorize.net/xml/v1/request.api" you mentioned in our companies admin page. Under the Authorize.net payment options in Megento's admin setup the Gatway URL is https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll. Is this what I need to change to https://api2.authorize.net/xml/v1/request.api? Thank you for your help with this matter.

Hello @Tommy
If the URL configured in your system is https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll then the new url will be https://secure2.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll

Awesome. Thank you so much for your quick responce Richard. I was reading about the sandbox. Should I try testing this solution that way, or is this definitely the answer I am looking for?

I would always recommend testing in the sandbox.

Hi, Richard,
First, am I to understand the "the" change that needs to be made is ONLY the possible URL change? And, since I can't find the Authorize.net announcement about the change can you direct me to it?
