Hi,
I'm trying to integrate the Direct Post Method into a ruby on rails application. However, whenever I declare a session variable, variable, or create a database record I get a request time out. I obvioulsy must be doing something wrong. I don't understand why I get a request time out by declaring a varaible or session variable. For example:
def relay_response sim_response = AuthorizeNet::SIM::Response.new(params) if sim_response.success?(AUTHORIZE_NET_CONFIG['api_login_id'], AUTHORIZE_NET_CONFIG['merchant_hash_value']) session[:order_first_name] = sim_response.x_first_name ------ causes time out render :partial => "processing" else render end end
Is there another approach to take to declare variables? Ultimately, I need to get access to the individual who place the orders first name, last name, and trans code and store in the database.
Thank you.
