Hi, here's the scenario and a question:
We have a site that sells physical storage of personal items. Customers sign and up and pay for storage, we pick up the items, put them in storage, and bill the customer an amount based on how much stuff they have in storage.
So, we have an online store integrated with Authorize.net and it is successfully charging the customer an initial fee during the checkout process when the order their storage. After we pick up their stuff and determine how much storage space is required, we need to charge the customer an additional amount, and the customer understands that there will be this additional cost.
The question is, how can we run that charge for the additional amount without asking the customer to come pay it themselves? ( We're trying to make this as easy for the customer as possible.)
Do we have to login to the Authorize.net interface and run the charge for the additional there? Or do we have to write some code to integrate CIM? Or ?
