I like to obtain credntials for authoriz.net echeck account. How/where do i begin. Thank you

To obtain test credentials for Authorize.Net eCheck (SIM integration), follow these steps:

1. Sign Up for an Authorize.Net Developer Account

You need a sandbox account to get test credentials.

• Go to Authorize.Net Developer

• Click Sign Up and create a sandbox account.

2. Retrieve API Credentials

Once your sandbox account is set up:

• Log in to the Authorize.Net sandbox portal.

• Navigate to Account → API Credentials & Keys.

• Copy your Merchant Login ID and Transaction Key.

3. Enable eCheck in Sandbox

• In the sandbox dashboard, go to Account → Settings.

• Look for Payment Form → Form Fields.

• Enable eCheck.Net as a payment method.

4. Configure Your Ecommerce Template

In the Ecommerce Plus Shopping Cart Software, enter:

• Merchant Login ID (from sandbox)

• Transaction Key (from sandbox)

• Set Transaction Type to Authorize Capture

• Ensure Demo Mode is enabled.

5. Test eCheck Transactions

Use the test bank account details provided by Authorize.Net in their documentation.

When I set up my echeck test account with “Ecommerce Templates Shopping Cart Software,” the easiest way was just starting on the Authorize.net sandbox page and following their instructions for test credentials. On a side note, while working with payments, I also got to play around with the Multi currency for some demo orders—it handled different currencies surprisingly smoothly, made testing a lot less confusing.
